Salmon & Watercress fishcakes

When me and bf returned home yesterday, after a double long trek around the forest, we were hungry and in need of some quick nutritious food. I had a couple of tins of salmon and a bag of watercress to hand so decided fishcakes were the way to go. I’ve previously made fishcakes from Mark Sisson’s cookbook which are great, but I fancied spicing things up a bit.

Lately, I’ve been really unmotivated to do any exercise at the gym.  I joined about 14 months ago and have probably been less than 25 times.  In the beginning I was totally psyched and full of hope.  I joined some classes and started doing some free weights but, after about 2-3 weeks it fizzled out and I couldn’t be bothered to go. I don’t really know why, although I guess it was a combination of having to leave the house after getting home from a long day at the office and the fact that I just wasn’t finding it exciting enough!

Christmas was my year anniversary of joining the gym, so I told myself that if I don’t go at least 3 times a week throughout the month of January, then I must cancel my membership.  Well, January came and went.  I tried to be a good gym member but it just seemed like too much effort.  It appears that joining a gym and then paying for not going has turned into a very bad habit of mine.
